High network traffic from Zabbix

Hello,

We have a Zabbix Server 3.2.11 monitoring our servers.
The Network Team tells me that Zabbix is generating a lot of network traffic.
We have not configured any discovery rule, but still, Zabbix generates traffic not only to the hosts it has added, also to the rest of the equipment in the network (laptops, pc's, etc).
Why does this traffic happen?
Is there any way to avoid it?

are you sure, there is no discovery rule running? I would start by checking, what type of traffic this is. take a look at tcpdump to a host, that is definitely not configured in zabbix

Hello zux,

There are discovery rules from templates, but these rules only should apply to hosts associated with them. There are no rules configured under Configuration>Discovery.
The traffic is http and https.
