Odd Auto-Register Actions
We are setting up a system to monitor 300 workstations, we want to us the auto-register to create the host and assign the templates to the host.
In the agent config we have the server and active server assigned by IP address.
I have the HostNameItem= system.hostname and the HostMetadataItem=system.uname
These systems are created with the host name, but the ip address always should up as the gateway address. It does get the templates and is put in the host group that I want, but since it has the gateway address they are not showing connected connected. I do get the data that is an active check but the standard checks are not working.
I have tried committing out the HostNameItem with the same results.
If I create the host in the dashboard then it seems to work fine.
