Zabbix 2.2.2 housekeeper does not delete anything

Every hour i get the same message in the log:

25953:20140326:150919.745 executing housekeeper
25953:20140326:150919.826 housekeeper [deleted 0 hist/trends, 0 items, 0 events, 0 sessions, 0 alarms, 0 audit items in 0.027398 sec, idle 1 hour(s)]

Which means my history table is growing rapidly at the moment (about 80 million records).

My solution would be to just truncate the history, trends en housekeeper table with the following statement:

TRUNCATE history;
TRUNCATE trends;
TRUNCATE housekeeper;

VACUUM FULL ANALYZE;

Housekeeper changes

The DisableHousekeeping server configuration option is supported no more. Instead, finer controls are located in the frontend, in Administration → General → Housekeeper, allowing to selectively enable/disable housekeeping processes for specific tables.

Housekeeper is disabled by default after upgrading to 2.2. The desired housekeeper functionality should be enabled manually.

Thanks so i don't need to truncate this tables manually after i enabled internal housekeeping.

This is strange, after i enabled internal housekeeping again it still logs
