    Gaps in graphs

    Hi,
    I have a Zabbix server monitoring a 10Gb link between two datacenters. The interfaces of both devices ( both HP 5900 switches ) show gaps in the graph. Oddly the gaps on the graph of DC1 do not match those on DC2. See attached images.

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks and have a nice day !

    We did a lot of Googling and came up with a solution. It turned out that the template/mib combination couldn't handle the results. We ended up copying ( full clone ) the Template SNMP Interfaces to Template SNMP Interfaces 10Gb devices and changing

    IF-MIB::ifInOctets.{#SNMPINDEX} to IF-MIB::ifHCInOctets.{#SNMPINDEX}

    We found out about IF-MIB::ifHCInOctets.{#SNMPINDEX} by doing an SNMP walk on the device ( HP 5940 FF switch)

    More tweaking may be needed but this is what worked for us.

    I hope this is helpful to someone...

    Thanks and have a nice day !
