Problem after upgrading to Zabbix 4.0

Hi,

I have a issue with the upgrade of zabbix 4.0 :

Database error
The frontend does not match Zabbix database. Current database version (mandatory/optional): 4000000/4000000. Required mandatory version: 3040000. Contact your system administrator.

I upgraded zabbix with the service zabbix-server-mysql -> ok
I have restart nginx, php-fpm -> ok
Cleaning the chrome cache -> ok

I still have this message.
I'm on Archlinux with nginx web server and zabbix server, agent and frontend have been upgraded automatically with the pacman process.

Please also upgrade the Zabbix front end package.

RHEL, CentOS: zabbix-web and zabbix-web-mysql
Debian, Ubuntu: zabbix-frontend-php

The upgrade is from zabbix-server 3.4 to 4.0. The agent and frontend-php version 3.4 (i don't have in Archlinux agent and frontend 4.0).
Note that the upgrade from 3.4 to 4.0 was completed successfully (no problems with the Mysql database).

Frontend 3.4 will not work with the database that server-4.0 uses. When you installed zabbix-server 4.0 and restarted the daemon it performed automatic database upgrade. Now your database is compatible with version 4.0 and frontend 3.4 will not work with it. Downgrade is not supported, you will have to install the frontend of exactly the same version as server.

Thanks ! The problem is solved but in fact i can't run Zabbix. On the Archlinux (32 bits) repository, the packages Agent and Frontend are not in 4.0 versions. So i wait for the update of these packages.

I'm not Arch user but it looks like 4.0.2 64-bit is out

But 32-bit is in "staging"

Not sure if you want to deploy "staging" though. :-)

OK thanks, Usually i prefer to wait and don't install packages from the staging repository. But in this case, i need Zabbix so i will deploy the software on my server.
