Triggers and actions using low level discovery

    Hello,

I have successfully set up low level discovery on my server to look for all ext4 filesystems and provide relevant size information (via the documentation provided by Zabbix https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...evel_discovery ). I have also set up a trigger prototype to alert whenever a filesystem is below 5% much like the prototype in the documentation. I have set up this discovery under it's own template in Zabbix (I have attached screenshot of my template set up to give you a better understanding of what I am working with).

The issue I am having is setting up an action to email myself and my team once this prototype trigger has been sparked. Is this possible to do? I have fumbled around in the actions page with no luck. If so, any help on how to do it would be greatly appreciated!

    Ciao

it works exactly the same way like regular triggers, just define an action

Unfortunately I am still struggling with this.

I have set up a test trigger for filesystems that have less than 100% of disk space available. Here is the expression I am using in my test.

        Code:
        {Template Filesystem Discovery - Server1 Test:vfs.fs.size[{#FSNAME},pfree].last(0)}<100
My issue is when going monitoring --> triggers I am not seeing any triggers for this specific host. Low level discovery is showing all the ext4 file systems having less than 100% of disk space free.

Is there something I am missing?

it should be ok. are you sure that trigger is enabled?
btw don't know why you are struggling with this, you have templates for this type of monitoring by default, no need to create new items/triggers.

Yes, here is what Zabbix shows when checking the discovery items for this particular host:

actually why does the trigger say /d421?
try using {#FSNAME} instead, like in the item.

                  ........vfs.fs.size[{#FSNAME},pfree].last(0).............
