Zabbix 2.2.3 Telnet via map problem

Hopefully a simple one.
When i telnet to a router on my map via a script, it connects fine
but the redirect window that is opened is too small and i cannot see past "escape character is' ']'" line.

Also as a side dish The windows that open, whether ping or telnet run minimised

Same on explorer,chrome or firefox.
