    Access Denied for Zabbix@localhost

    Hey
I've been attempting to install Zabbix on a Pi 3 B+ with Raspian Stretch installed on it all night, I get pretty far however once I get to the stage of "Import initial schema and data" ( here - https://www.zabbix.com/download?zabb...retch&db=MySQL ) i always get the error bellow

Given that I have little to no knowledge of what I'm doing with Zabbix I imagine I have missed something either obvious or important. In an attempt to rectify any errors I have reinstalled the entire os twice but to no avail, every install produces this error.
My only theory is that I'm in root@rpi, not root@zabbix but to be honest I'm now completely lost

On a second note, i can access localhost/zabbix fine however because i cant get past this step im missing the date.timezone php configuration

I dont appear to have a mysql.log file the nearest thing i could find was either the zabbix server log which stated this, repeatedly

Cannot connect to local MySQL: server through socket var/run/mysql.sock

and the other file in the mysql folder within var was error.log

It appeared to just reference the startup and shutdown procedure and nothing more
