Can't edit interfaces after upgrade from 3.2 to 4.0

After a recent upgrade it seems that interface editing is no longer working.

I have hosts with their interfaces already configured (see the first image in the linked gallery). It is all working fine. However, when I open any of the hosts (second image), I see no interfaces. If I press the "Add" button, nothing happens.

I also included the console log in the screenshot. I'm not sure if it's related to my problem, but maybe it completely crashes javascript and that's why nothing is working?

Click on the thumbnail/link - they are both in the same imgur gallery under one another.

Found one reference here where dude fixed this by adding

var ED=false;

to /usr/share/zabbix/js/main.js
