Is it possible to create a Zabbix item for a host machine through the command line? Furthermore, is it possible to see where the information about the various Zabbix items and the monitored agents are stored? Is it stored on the Zabbix Server or is it stored on the respective Zabbix Agent?

Yes, it's possible by creating your own program which will use Zabbix API to create some records in Zabbix DB.
