Proxies on Passive Mode is Not Working

Hello everyone,

I have a problem at my current setup. Whereas, my Zabbix Proxies, in which are set on passive mode, are not connecting to my targeted devices to be monitored. However, if I set the same proxy on Active mode; then, I will be able to get logs from my targeted devices.

Anyone have a solution for this problem.

Did you forget to set ProxyMode=1 in your proxy configuration file?

Yes my friend, I have done that. In fact, I may have found a bug.

While I was trying to understand the problem, I have left the proxy running monitoring Google traffic. While the proxy was set on Passive Mode, the web application have not showed any results on the Web Application. However, as soon as I set the Proxy on the Active Mode and update the configuration on the Web Application; not only the proxy will start showing Google traffic; but also, it will show up what it have been monitored during the time when the monitoring was not active on the graph.

The current version that I have tried this on, is 4.0.3
Also, I have tried it on 4.0.2
The same problem.

There are two parts of proxy settings:
- in zabbix_proxy.conf
- in zabbix configuration data stored in zabbix server DB backend.
Both must matching.
