    SNMP Trap Iptables problem

    Dear community,

    I followed this guide
Join the friendly and open Zabbix community on our forums and social media platforms.

to configure SNMP traps on my zabbix 2.2.2 on CentOS 6.5.

It works as long as I don't turn on my iptables.
If I do start iptables (with port 162 accepted), the traps isn't shown in zabbix or saved in the tmp file.

But I tested and I'm sure that it arrives with UDP at port 162.
I did reset my counters of my iptables and saw that every time I did sent a trap, the rule (of port 162) was chosen, which means it passes the iptables.

    Please help

    Update 11/05
    Any help

      Take a look at example

Especially on a couple of lines:
      Code:
######## Allow SNMP request and SNMP trap packets.
      -A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -p udp --dport 161 -j ACCEPT
      -A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -p udp --dport 162 -j ACCEPT
May be it can give you some ideas.
      Sincerely yours,
      Aleksey
