only agent.ping returns no data

Hello,

We encounter a problem with the item "agent.ping" on some servers.

Sometimes, this item does not return value for a period of 5 to 30 minutes while all other items (CPU, memory, disk space, icmpping, process check) correctly return a value. When this happens, the server is not overloaded.

We have servers in a datacenter and Amazon S3. We encounter this problem only on the Amazon servers. A Zabbix proxy is set up on Amazon.

I tried to increase pre-forked instances but no affect. I don't understand why only this item return no data.

Do you have an idea? Thanks.

only agent.ping returns no data

Are you using proxy agent setup. If yes than I am also facing the same issue and it is because of the proxy. Whenever the proxy goes down the expression agent.ping has data will get satisfied and the mail get shooted.
I am also not able to get the exact solution for this. Please let me know if you got the solution for this
