I have some host which availability I should check in a loop.
I have Zabbix up and working with about 200 hosts
This problem is quite easy to solve with Zabbix.
BUT....
I have a problem: I can ping this host with ping command in windows, linux, zabbix comp.
But when I'm trying to Fping this host from ubuntu servers I receive
"host-IP is unavailible"
So I can't use Zabbix to monitor this host.
What is the difference in ping and fping requests? Maybe it's possible to use some additional key for fping to fix this problem?
I think that this is remote host problem, thought maybe somebody have an idea?
