    discover CPUs Items Failing

    Zabbix Server 4.0.4
    On Centos 7.6.1810

    Zabbix-Agent 4.0.4
    Also on Centos 7.6.1810

    System Template Template OS Linux discover CPUs: system.cpu.util[0, <type>, <mode>]” Fails with Error Invalid Second Parameter

    as does discover CPUs: “system.hw.cpu[0, <info>]”.

    Theses checks are part of the default setup and not something I have added.

    New to Zabbix - So not sure if these are working as expected or a fault / bug

    Would appreciate and info/guidance

      There is no such template/item in the official installation of 4.0.4
      Anyways, it is not working because you need to remove parameters in <> brackets.
      <> means that they are optional, and if you are not using them, you need to remove them.

          Thank you, I will take another look.

          NB.
          I downloaded and installed from rpm -ivh https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/4.0/r...el7.noarch.rpm - and have only added Templates for SQL Server and XCP-ng monitoring - so I am bit unsure where the templates home come from.
