where to place zabbix_server.conf

I've the following problem:

When I point my browser to http://localhost/zabbix/ I get the error message: "Error connecting to database [Access denied for user ''@'localhost' to database 'zabbix'].

Therefore I examined the configuration-file but there was the correct user and password. For test purposes I put "test" into the database name in the configuration file - but the error messages is still the same. I assume that I've put my zabbix_server.conf in a wrong place (i.e. /etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf - using SuSE 10.1).

Where should it be?

Or do I have to restart the zabbix server?

Thanks. Of course I've read the documentation. But my mistake was to change the password after I've copied the php-sources...
