Hi, I have Zabbix 3.4.15 configured and doing almost everything I need. But I am stuck with Triggers for VMware guest VMs. I am fairly new to Zabbix so I am probably missing something obvious.
Short: How do is have a trigger create a Problem when a VM item, Mounted filesystem discovery: free disk space on C:\ (percentage) is low.
Long: I followed this guide to setup VM monitoring https://www.zabbix.com/documentation.../vm_monitoring and all the hypervisors and VMs show in Configuration > Hosts, however they have no Triggers or Graphs (graphs do show in Monitoring > Latest Data for the VM but no where else). However, its the Triggers I am really interested in, when I used a Zabbix Agent on a Windows server it automatically includes Triggers that show in Monitoring > Problems as events happen and I assume the VM's would do the same.
I found an article that talked about adding Triggers to the Configuration > Templates > Template VM VMware Guest but when I Create trigger and try to select an Item, only the items from the Template VM VMware Guest appear, the other items (which do show in Monitoring > Latest Data for the VM) do not show eg Disk Device discovery, Mounted fileystem discovery, Network device discovery.
I could put the Zabbix agent on every VM but that seems to defeat the object of VMware autodiscovery. Any suggestions on what I am missing to have Problems trigger using any of the items that show in the VMs Latest Data?
