DHCP Hosts with multiple IP's

I've tried searchign for a resolution to this, i've got a bunch of hosts that seem to have multiple IP's assigned to them. the DNS resolution for these IP's resolve other machines and the correct IP is set as "Default" under the host, the problem i have is that when i try to remove the IP so that a new host can be setup which is now using that IP (i.e. a new host has been assigned the old hosts IP address) it seems to get recreated and the new host isn't added (we have discovery rules to find the hosts)

Is there a way i can tell zabbix to only store the default IP for each host and disregard any additional ones?

here's an example of a machine that has multiple IP's assigned to the agent interface, but you can see the server is resolving the correct dns name... just not being removed for zabbix to create a new host.
