2.2.2/ 2.2.3 Zabbix Databases i suddenly growing fast

Hi all
We are using zabbix for years und updated the server regulary.

2.2.2 was running for weeks without any Problems but suddenly the database is now growing fast without any reason. (now 84GB)
After an update to 2.2.3 we thought the problem was fixed, but after 3 days, the database starts growing again fast. (no changes were made)

Do I have a possibility to find out why the datebase is growing ?

Housekeeping Table has 18'000 entries. I am not sure if this is a lot or not.

how many nvps do you have? how long do you save values?

are something in the logs?

new values per second: 159
# of items in the queue is around: 4
# of hosts 281

history 7, trends 365 (depends on item)

No special entries in the logfile so far.

One strange thing is that the growing started at 1:00 AM

maybe the houskeeper is not running correctly ?

Housekeeper is disabled by default after upgrading to 2.2. The desired housekeeper functionality should be enabled manually.
