Received value not suitable, hex conversion not working?

Dear Zabbix Users,

we have some SNMP Items that are unsupported. The error is:

Received value [0x1D173AA00] is not suitable for value type [Numeric (unsigned)] and data type [Hexadecimal]

Is hex conversion not working here?

I think you need 2 preprocessing steps:
1. Left trim 0x
2. Hexadecimal to decimal

thank you for your reply. I have noticed that there is item preprocessing. But that seems not be available for 3.0. Bummer. Do you know of any way how to left trim the 0x without that "new" feature? It's a snmp item.
