help me , any senior member

    hello,
I am using zabbix-1.1, my OS is fedora core 5, after I installed zabbix, I can monitor my own computer, and I have got data, graphs, and map, then I want to monitor other computers, so I installed zabbix-agents on other computers, add new hosts on my server,(I used vmware workstation on another computer, and set different IP), the problem is when I can monitor one host with linux9.0, but another host with the same OS, I can't monitor it, it said "Not available, Connection reset by peer". what's wrong with it? For another OS(windows 2003), it said "Not available, Can't connect to [xxx] [Connection refused]"
I have checked the config file of all the host machine, except the windows, other two are totally the same, for windows ,can anyone who can give me an example? thanks all my life!!

        window$ have a built-in firewall disable this.
this error is in a host inside vmware?

          "connection reset by pear":
The Agent doesn't allow the Server to connect. This could be caused by the server IP/hostname not correctly configured in agentd.conf, or wrong Ports, or something that way.

          - Are the agentd-procs running (client side)?
-> ps -efa | grep zabbix

          - Is the agentd really listening on port 10050 (client side)?
-> netstat -ap | grep zabbix

          - What do the logfiles say (agentd and server's)?

          - Try zabbix_get -s <client hostname or IP> -k agent.version (on server side)
          Big ZABBIX is watching you!
(... and my 48 hosts, 4513 items, 1280 triggers via zabbix v1.6 on CentOS 5.0)
