I have zb 2 version in server I want to check zb agent availibility .Please suggest

I want to monitor zabbix agent available on the server now when I stop service zb agent v4 and it will show zb agent running why?? May be it check zb v3 .I use item [Agent.Ping]
I want to check as attachment and set in dashboard how can I do..
