Zabbix Items

Hello All,

I am attempting to create a new item, but when clicking configuration ---> hosts ---> Item, the following image is the screen shown below. We believe there may be some issue with our database.

I think is may be character type is UTF-8?

Please show how did you create the database. Correct instructions on https://zabbix.com/download

It was created and put in by an installer. Not having any luck with trying to convert the characters to UTF-8.

Probably some encoding configuration problem in:
1) Database
2) Zabbix server
3) Apache
4) Your Browser...

So I am able to go to Monitoring -> click on a problem -> go to Configuration -> clone an Item -> change the configuration and then add it. Definitely agree that this is likely an encoding issue. May be an issue in the PHP/Apache config? I was also getting some weird text after updating an Item as well but I can no longer recreate that issue. Looking further into it.
