MySQL status is down even though it is running

Hi,

I am using 'Template DB MySQL' to monitor MySQL virtual machines.

I am able to see the latest data correctly for the following fields:

MySQL bytes received per second
MySQL bytes sent per second
MySQL insert operations per second
MySQL queries per second
MySQL slow queries
MySQL version

But, it is displaying incorrect data for 'MySQL status'. Even though MySQL is running in the agent machine, it is showing the status as 'Down' (screenshot attached).

Please help me to correct it.
