I have set one configuration with zabbix sever and my application on the same server to understand at this stage the concept and what I can do. I used "externalscripts" feature to ask some execution of a sh script with 5 or 6 arguments. An item (external check) and a trigger were done and work fine
Now I want to do the same across network. One server is the zabbix server and another server (or host) run my application. How to used "externalscripts"
Of course now my application is no more on the zabbix server but the feature for the Path to externalscripts is only define on the zabbix server ? which feature can handle this ? zabbix agent, zabbix sender...
