    Monitoring Probes

    I am curious to what is the most probes someone is running currently on their setup. has anyone reached a limit.

    Currently at 20,000 probes here.

          I would also like to know what your setup is. I am running 2500 probes and it is pounding the (p3 1.5Ghz 512mb) box it is on.

          I am planning to move to a bigger box, but this one was handy and I needed to do a "proof of concept".

              Setup

              Our Zabbix Server is housed on a quad-proc 2.8 xenon. 4GB of RAM. This is storing all the data in a Oracle cluster. Please let me know if any questions.
