Background:
I am using Debian 7 (wheezy). Zabbix Version 2.2.3.
I followed the setup instructions listed here: http://www.unixmen.com/install-zabbi...g-tool-debian/
Before installing my own Zabbix server I tested it out using the pre-built appliance. When using the appliance there is a Web tab in the Configuration area, but when I completed the setup for my production server, there was no Web tab.
I checked to make sure that web monitoring was configured during the setup process and it was. See excerpt from my zabbix_server.log file below:
Enabled features:
SNMP monitoring: YES
IPMI monitoring: YES
WEB monitoring: YES
VMware monitoring: YES
Jabber monitoring: YES
Ez Texting monitoring: YES
ODBC monitoring: YES
SSH2 support: YES
IPv6 support: YES
I am not sure if I made a mistake in the back-end server setup or with the front-end web portion. I can access the web interface and setup and monitor hosts, but I really need to be able to monitor websites as well. Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated.
