Hello!
I get the following message in zabbix webfrontend:
"zabbix server is not running. the information displayed may not be current"
I have done some checks (google for it too ;-) ...) but find no way to fix this issue.
Here are some technical information regarding my zabbix Installation:

Centos 6.5
SELinux = disabled
iptables = disabled
zabbix Version = 2.2.4
- webfrontend is running
- I can see actual data under "Monitoring/latest data"
- the command "pgrep -l zabbix_server" shows 39 runnig processes
