"Login name or password is incorrect" after installing zabbix proxy (2.2.3)

I tried to install zabbix proxy on CentOS 6.5.
Zabbix version is 2.2.3
I followed this procedure:

Arrived at Step 8 of the installation frontend, I try to connect as shown with Username and password : Admin

Please check the link you posted to documentation. It is broken somehow. But I suppose you were following this manual: (https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...lation/install)

Why are you installing Zabbix from sources when there are packages available? It will be mush easier for you to maintain and update your system afterwards if you use packages.

And now the main thing. You told that you are installing Proxy. There is no frontend needed on Zabbix proxy. You have to configure only zabbix_proxy.conf on your Proxy system, everything else is configured on main Zabbix server frontend.
