Linux monitor log file no last value

Hi

I want to monitor the log file,
Alerts whenever there is any change.

There are two ways to use it, but there are no values.
1. vfs.file.size[/var/log/ejabberd/process_monitor.log]
2.vfs.file.cksum[/var/log/ejabberd/process_monitor.log]

Is there a wrong setting?
Or is Zabbix-agent also changing settings?

Please check the list of items from the host settings. Is there a red mark on the right side of the item line?
If you move the mouse pointer to the red mark, you will see the reason why it can not be acquired.

If the error "[13] Permission denied" occurs, check if the user who is running Zabbix agent has permission to access the directory and file containing the log file you want to monitor. By default, you should be running as zabbix user.
