    unixtime in action message

    Hi,

I have an item containing the unixtime of the time modified for a specific file. When the file did not get updated recently, I would like to get an e-mail message containing the last value found. The mail message I receive now contains:

    {ITEM.NAME}: 1.4 Gunixtime

How do I get "1.4 Gunixtime" converted to a human readable format?

    Thanks,
    Wouter

I believe that you configured the Item correctly.
unixtime – translated to “yyyy.mm.dd hh:mm:ss”. To translate correctly, the received value must be a Numeric (unsigned) type of information.
    part "Units"

      Aleksey,

Thanks for your reply. The item is configured with unixtime units. The latest data view does convert unixtime to readable time correctly, but the action message fired by the trigger doesn't.

        Aleksey,

When posting my image I noticed my item was configured Numeric (float), not Numeric (unsigned) as you pointed out. I'll try that.

          Solved

Changing to Numeric (unsigned) solved my problem.

          Thanks,
          Wouter
