It is very strange and inadequate behaviour, i think: IMO file must be processed fully, from the start and to the end, otherwise it is not file.contents, it is the "file-human-readable.contents" or so.
Could anybody tell me WHY zabbix interpret the first observed "null" character as the "end of file"?
