Sawtooth shaped CPU graph

Hi,

I have zabbix server 2.0.12 splitted into two boxes:
- boxA - zabbix-server application
- boxB - zabbix-server db on MySQL (5.6) with partitioning on historical tables.

I've observed that CPU usage on boxA looks strange - it's sawtooth shape while boxB looks correct (attachment - boxA on the left side).

Any clues where to start investigation?

Looks like the spikes are every minute or two. Did you get on the server and run top to see what procs are using CPU?
