    One server with two frontends

    Hello all,

    I have a zabbix installation in my datacenter to monitor my clients machines. I want to give access for my clients to the frontend with limited access level and some customization (i.e. no access to IT services or my company logo). I don't want to modify my current zabbix frontend, and additional frontend on another server will be great solution but ...
    im not sure if additional frontend connected to same zabbix database will not crash database.
    Is it possible to connect multiple frontends to one database?

    Thanks,
    Marcin

    Maybe better way is to run two virtualhosts on same server?

      If you want to monitor the same host from two different Virtual Instances of Zabbix Server, you have to:
      - do twice more configuration work;
      - almost twice increase the load of client;
      - increase the load of Virtual Hypervisor.

      I don't think that it is a good solution for a real environment.
      Sincerely yours,
      Aleksey

        I know that this solution duplicates some administration tasks but as I mentioned above, it's only solution to prevent users accesing it services for all defined hosts.
