email notifications does not stop

i've configured an action to send email notification based on a trigger. after deleting that action, i have noticed that the email notifications doesn't stop. can anyone please advise how to stop the email notifications? i'm not sure if there's some configs stucked in the database..

If you are being flooded because of alerts that are queued up, you can clear them by logging into your DB server and go into the MySql console, then run these commands:

use zabbix; (Or whatever your Zabbix DB name is)
delete from escalations;
update alerts set status=1 where status=0;

thanks for the response. i dont see any alerts that have status=0 in the alerts table. i also dont see any escalations pertaining to the deleted action that sends out the email notification.. any other tables that we can check?

this has been fixed. the database was queued up/busy and i believe it took some time to get the changes committed.
