I am trying to install the Zabbix 4.2.5 appliance in VMware v6.5 using the OVF.
Deploy OVF Template
Select the OVF & VMDK files extracted from the TAR. <Next>
I enter the name of the server. <Next>
I select the resource. <Next>
I get the following error:
"Issues detected with selected template. Details: - -1:-1:VALUE_ILLEGAL: No supported hardware versions among [virtualbox-2.2]; supported: [vmx-04, vmx-07, vmx-08, vmx-09, vmx-10, vmx-11, vmx-12, vmx-13]."
I ran this past my VM guy and here was his response:
"That looks like you have a bad ovf file. It’s complaining about the hardware version of the VM inside the ovf not being compatible with any vm hardware version used in the last 10 years. Based on what I can see, the machine was built with virtualbox, so I would guess whomever created the ovf didn’t get it converted properly."
Any help would be appreciated.
