How do you change where zabbix looks for it's conf files?

    How do you change where zabbix looks for it's conf files?

    i've been using ./zabbix_server -c /zabbix/conf/zabbix_server.conf

    but is there a way i can change the zabbix server default path?

    Hi

    You can find default values for the zabbix server in src/zabbix_server/server.c file on line 362 (for the version 1.1.1).
    This part is hardcoded and you need to recompile zabbix if you change this values.

      Or create a symlink from default directory to the new one.
      So you do not have to start ZABBIX by parameter.

        must have typed the wrong info into the search.. went through that file...

        Yep, i changed it over, recompiled, all good now. thanks!

          I'm thinking of making sed do it in the spec file before the ./configure section of build though... make it easier to change n stuff
