Some servers don´t have their data up to date others do !!!

    Hi everybody,

I have zabbix version 1.1 installed in a Slackware 10.2 running kernel version 2.4.31 i686. My server is a poor one (PIII 1.5MHz w/ 512 Mem) but it seems to do the work just fine.
My company is distributed in 5 floors , each one with 3 to 4 switches where the machines are connected. I´m monitoring all the switches and the servers connected to them, totalizing a park with 70 hosts being monitored only with SNMP (no zabbix agent is used).
My problem is that not every host is up to date. I mean, there are some that are 5 days outdated, other are nearly 2 week outdated. I don´t know what is happening. I can snmpwalk them with their community just fine. I´ve checked my mysql database for inconsistent community keys but found nothing, everything is alright. Suddenly from one day to another, an outdated host becomes updated, thats to say, it keeps nearly 2 weeks without any data been recovered by zabbix, but out of a sudden it is updated, with the data. All hosts are with AVAILABLE status on the HOST screen.
I don´t know if my server is to slow to monitor 70 host, or i´m doing something really stupid down here that makes zabbix go crazy.

    Need a hand !!!

    att.
