    Hello Ignus,

I have tried different values on parameter Timeout, but without results.
My graphs still have no data and in the log file there are no errors.

      Hi Renate,

      Sad to hear that.
What about zabbix_agentd.log on that host? Can you find any clues there?

      Best Regards,
      Ingus

          Hi Ingus,

Could you also have a look on this topic?

I couldn't see any changes of behaviour with 2.4.0 installed. Thanks a lot and have a nice week...

              Hi Renate,

I am sorry that the errors are still present in your system. However with the current information it is hard for me to do any further troubleshooting.

The next steps would be then to review the whole system step by step, check the logs for any possible clues, config problems etc. It is very hard to troubleshoot only with some small pieces of information and without the whole logs and pictures.

              Best Regards,
              Ingus

                Hi Ingus,

OK, so I hvae made all the changes to my.cnf, optimized the DB and .conf's for Proxy and Server, but the mentioned gaps in my graphs still persist. My Zabbix Proxy Queues are fine.

I have posted the graph issue in a seperate post here

Is there any other advice that you can give?

This particular screen is for total bandwidth via SNMP, but I have the same problem with a Windows Agent getting Disk IOPS info. The graph displays gaps, but when I look at the values, there are no "0" values. So it seems there is something wrong with the Zabbix graphing side of things?

                Regards,

                Dawid

Ingus, Zabbix Specialists & Zabbix Developers!

Any idea why I'm still getting gaps in my graphs whilst all my values are present?

                  Regards,

                  Dawid

                    Hi Dawid,

My apologies for not replying sooner!

I looked at the other thread you posted.

In configuration for your calculated item please Store value As is not Delta (speed per second).
                    Does that help?

                    Best Regards,
                    Ingus

                      Ingus,

No worries...we all are a bit busy from time to time

Thanks for the suggestion, I will put it in place and monitor it over the next couple of days.

                      Regards,

                      Dawid

                        Ignus,

That seems to have done the trick! No gaps in my calculated item graphs now...

                        Thanks again for your help.

                        Regards,

                        Dawid

                          Hi Dawid,

I am glad that you finally got that sorted! And you got a well tuned system now!

But the lessons learned from this forum thread - the graph gaps were not a server performance issue, it was just an item misconfiguration...

Gaps can be caused by server issues and bad tuning as well. Regardless of that, everyone can repeat those steps on their systems to check the overall health. But in the end it still can come down to one small dropdown menu which caused the gaps and lead us in the wrong direction of troubleshooting.

With this said, I wish you all good luck in tuning! And make sure you create your items correctly!

                          Best Regards,
                          Ingus
