I'm running Zabbix v1.1.1 (although it did the same in the previous version).
Occasionally the server that is running Zabbix requires a reboot. I restart the Zabbix server properly, but it no longer collects SNMP data from any of my hosts. It still has a connection to the host as it can collect icmpping data, and doesnt report a Timeout error.
I can force the individual items to start collecting again by doing a 'clean history' but i really dont fancy having to purge data out of all 350 hosts every time it needs a reboot!
Any ideas?
