I cannot find any documentation on what is Zabbix expecting from external check scripts. I can see it's a JSON file, but where's the expected content documented? I have a discovery script written by a colleague long time ago that doesn't seem to be working anymore and I want to rewrite it. It is producing stuff like:reverse phone lookupnba reddit pcpartpicker

A basic external check script simply outputs a simple number or string.
If it is a script that outputs JSON, is it used for LLD? For LLD, please refer to the manual.
