Upgrade from 4.2.6 to 4.4 ==> already newest version (4.2.6)

I followed the steps to upgrade from 4.2 to 4.4 but updating doesn't work.
Keeps saying: zabbix-server-mysql is already the newest version (1:4.2.6-1+bionic).
Nothing seems to help / reboot / apt clean / etc..

    uhm... Help?

    Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS

    apt-cache policy zabbix-server-mysql
    zabbix-server-mysql:
    Installed: 1:4.2.6-1+bionic
    Candidate: 1:4.2.6-1+bionic
    Version table:
    *** 1:4.2.6-1+bionic 100
    100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
    1:3.0.12+dfsg-1 500
    500 http://nl.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe amd64 Packages

I am also having this issue with a zabbix proxy, running Ubunu 18.4.3. Fresh OS install, using the repo from 4.4 zabbix documentation, apt installed zabbix proxy v.3.0.12 off the new repo. Anyone find a resolve?

For some reason /etc/apt/sources/zabbix.list was non-existent after installing the new repository configuration package. I manually created zabbix.list and added "

        deb http://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/4.4/ubuntu bionic main
        deb-src http://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/4.4/ubuntu bionic main

        "

ran apt-get update, apt-get install --only-upgrade zabbix-*** and it installed 4.4.8.

          Hi jtnnettech,

Great! I will try this in the near future and let you know if it works for me too

          *Edit*
