I have a self hosted Zabbix server with multiple hosts (CENTOS & FREEBSD) These have been working perfectly on zabbix 32 for a couple of years. I had to upgrade the Freebsd servers to version 12 and this also required I got to zabbix 42 on the agent end. Ever since then (with no zabbix agent changes in config) the servers give an error message that the zabbix agent can't be contacted, even though the events, like apache down or up are triggering normally.
Its there something I should do at the server end ? it is showing 3.4.2 on the front page of the web portal at the server.fedloan irs.gov easybib
