Just having a problem with email alerts, everything was working fine until our ISP had a failure that lost connectivity with the email server and at the same time generated a bunch of alerts.
Since then, email alerts haven't been sent with the Action being stuck on "In Progress" with x retries left. It's the second time it's happened, and last time was solved by a hardware reset of the zabbix server, but I'd prefer to find out what's causing the issue and only reset the affected service if possible.
Restarting zabbix-server has no effect. And there are no errors in /var/log/maillog other than restarting postfix
