    SNMP query problem

    Hi,

I have a problem where some of the SNMP queries are displayed but some others are not for the same device: I have a template which has more than 20 SNMP items. I get a response from 8 of them but the rest is not displayed on Zabbix on "latest data" section.

    Code:
    HP: Base MAC	16 Sep 2014 13:00:09	00 00 00 2a 00 00	-	History
HP: Switch Type	16 Sep 2014 12:55:56	HP J8698A Switch E5412zl (Formerly ProCurve)	-	History
     	 	Memory_free	16 Sep 2014 13:01:24	86.38 Mbytes	-592 bytes	Graph
     	 	Memory_total	16 Sep 2014 13:01:24	128.49 Mbytes	-	Graph
     	 	Memory_used	16 Sep 2014 13:01:24	42.11 Mbytes	+480 bytes	Graph
     	 	Over-temperature Status	16 Sep 2014 13:01:24	4	-	Graph
     	 	ping	16 Sep 2014 13:02:33	1	-	Graph
     	 	SysUptime	16 Sep 2014 13:01:04	51 days, 01:46:58	+00:03:00	Graph
The device being monitored responds to every single SNMPGET query I run manually from the Zabbix host.

This is what I have on zabbix host logs:

9395:20140916:125709.258 resuming SNMP agent checks on host "Office Core Switch": connection restored
9392:20140916:125824.431 SNMP agent item "FAN-Status" on host "Office Core Switch" failed: first network error, wait for 15 seconds
9395:20140916:125909.404 temporarily disabling SNMP agent checks on host "Office Core Switch": host unavailable
9395:20140916:130009.704 enabling SNMP agent checks on host "Office Core Switch": host became available
9392:20140916:130134.977 SNMP agent item "hpSwitchCpuStat" on host "Office Core Switch" failed: first network error, wait for 15 seconds
9394:20140916:130154.171 SNMP agent item "PSU-3-Status" on host "Office Core Switch" failed: another network error, wait for 15 seconds
9395:20140916:130219.916 temporarily disabling SNMP agent checks on host "Office Core Switch": host unavailable
9395:20140916:130354.108 enabling SNMP agent checks on host "Office Core Switch": host became available
why do you think this would happen? Any ideas how to work around this?

I also see this on the "Administration -> Queue" section:

    Code:
Items	5 seconds	10 seconds	30 seconds	1 minute	5 minutes	More than 10 minutes
    Zabbix agent	0	0	0	0	0	0
    Zabbix agent (active)	0	0	0	0	0	0
    Simple check	0	0	0	0	0	0
    SNMPv1 agent	0	0	0	0	0	0
    SNMPv2 agent	0	1	5
Basically, there is 1 item on 10 second queue and 5 items in the 30 seconds queue.

Try to get problematic items using zabbix_get via terminal. You may have problems with snmp OID or access control.
