Zabbix duplicate agents when using auto-registration?
In Zabbix 4.0.2 - we are using autoregistration on our agents, but we ended up having duplicate agents with the exact same configuration - (DNS flag, Interface information, DNS/IP information, port, etc) and they are pointing to the same proxy.
I researched some similar issues, but they all describe the problem resided in having more than one entry in the ServerActive parameter in the agent conf file:
This is not the case, and the only entry for ServerActive in the agent is the proxy in question (only DNS, not IP). Not sure if this contributes to the issue but those two duplicated agents were registered almost at the same time:
First at 2019-10-31 00:40:58.195167
Second at 2019-10-31 00:40:58.056511
Does somebody know how/why this is happening? How can we avoid/rectify this?
