Experienced this both on zabbix 4.2 and now zabbix 4.4. Zabbix server sits and hangs waiting for a db connection but since mysql has already shutdown it just hangs. Anyone know a fix for this? Something in systemd?
I think it can be avoided by setting the dependency in the Unit setting in /usr/lib/systemd/system/zabbix-server.service. Will be fixed in the next release.
