Zabbix web scenario "maintenance window" not suppressing alerts

    Hi-

I have set a daily maintenance window in our Zabbix instance for one of our websites [hosts] with a web scenario. This is during a nightly backup window for the respective site. I have verified that the maintenance window is in fact active at the scheduled time. However we are still receiving trigger alerts during the maintenance window for the web scenario.

I found this article. https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-4426 But the advice does not pertain to my situation.

Any advice will be most helpful.

    Thanks,
    Scott Joseph

We have exactly this problem too. It is useless to have a Maintenance Period if at Maintenance Period end zabbix send PROBLEM and OK messages as if no Maintenance Period was configured... Maintenance Periods means we do some Maintenance on systems so we do not want that monitoring systems fire alert notification or count these periods as services / hosts unavailability. Can Zabbix do that simply ?

Well we have other maintenance windows for standard hosts [non websites] utilizing either Zabbix Agents or SNMP that work flawlessly every time. But in this case, we set the websites up as an agent-less host. It's almost just a place holder or container for the web scenario check & trigger ...if that makes any sense. Below is a screen-grab.

I was beginning to wonder if it may have something to with the fact that the host is added with no ip address nor agent. Any thoughts or insight?

Its 2019 and I have this same problem as someone had in 2014. At the end of my maintenance window, I do not want alerts telling me everything that just went down and is now back up. On my maint window i chose to not collect data. This doesn't help.
