Appliance iso 4.0.16 Postgresql

I am trying to install the appliance iso 4.0.16 Postgresql.
The installation process of the appliance itself works.
However the postgres database is not able to setup/start as described in the guides.
Is the appliance only usable as a mysql instance ?

Firstly, we only support appliances with MySQL pre-installed.
Secondly, if you refer to this manual https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...nual/appliance it doesn't say how to install PostgreSQL. You would have to install it manually or use other ways of getting zabbix .
If you would like to stay with your appliance I recommend to remove MySQL and called package zabbix-server-mysql and use the following instructions to install PostgreSQL from packages.
