ICMP Ping to an external IP from Zabbix Agent Active

    Hello,

I need to check ICMP ping available and response time to an external IP from "Agent Active."
Is there any solution for this ?

    Regards,

If you need to check icmp, you can use UserParameter in conjunction with fping.

Yes, But I have over 600 agent active (Windows OS), and it's difficult to edit all of zabbix_agentd.conf for all of them.
I'm looking for a quick and easy way.

Thats is pain indeed if you dont have some kind of automation in place usually its quick and easy with some automation tool which in such scope should be in place ...try talking to OS admin guys maybe they have sccm or something in the house. If not then option mentioned by Hamardaban bellow could be an alternative.

Alternatively, try using the agent to monitor any open tcp port on the target device (net.tcp.port).

          Thanks,
          I used net.tcp.service.perf for this.
          And it's work perfectly

For ICMP ping from windows agent v4.4 without UserParameter you may try this solution:
            https://share.zabbix.com/operating-s...-windows-agent
P.S. For active agents just change the type of the item prototype "get ICMP ping {#ADDR}" to Zabbix agent (active).
